Student leaders in Maryland are invited to apply to serve on the MASC State Board of Education Advisory Committee.  This committee’s main purpose is to communicate needs around the state to the State Board of Education, research and suggest possible changes, programs, policies, etc., and make students across the state of Maryland aware of the student member position and how this person can serve the students in Maryland.

Congratulations!  Bryce Awono, junior at Parkdale High School in Prince George’s County was appointed by the Governor to the position of Student Member on the Maryland State Board of Education for the 2018-2019 school year.  Mr. Awono serves from July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019.
