Women’s Leadership Forum

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, this is a virtual event.

March is Women’s History Month – this month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture, and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987. Women’s History Month 2021 will take place from Monday, March 1-Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to be Silenced is the 2021 National Women’s History Month theme. The theme “captures the spirit of these challenging times. Since most 2020 women’s suffrage, centennial celebrations were curtailed, the National Women’s History Alliance is extending the annual theme for 2021 to “Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to Be Silenced.”

“The National Women’s History Alliance is determined that the important roles of multicultural suffragists and voting rights activists continue to be recognized and honored. We refuse to allow their voices to be silenced, even by a pandemic.”

MASC is excited to offer our celebration of Women’s History Month at the Saturday, March 6, 2021, Women’s Leadership Forum.   This is an excellent opportunity for our student leaders to discuss selected issues, hear from women in leadership positions in our communities, education, and workplaces (the 2021 #MASCsheros!), as well as learning how to create female-specific support groups in their own regions. All students are invited to attend – there are no gender restrictions!
