The Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC) is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization of public, private, and charter secondary school student councils in the state of Maryland. Through programs and events, MASC teaches leadership skills, promotes communication among student leaders, and is a strong student voice of advocacy to the Maryland Center for School Safety, the Maryland State Board of Education, and the Maryland General Assembly.

MASC groups the areas of Maryland geographically by divisions. This helps with outreach and allows schools that are geographically close to work together on special projects and share resources in a more personal way. These are the eight divisions of MASC. (Note: Many of the schools also have a “regional” or county-level student council structure that MASC recognizes).
