This is information for qualified students interested in running for a 2024-2025 MASC officer position.

As per the Election Rules, “Nomination forms must be filed to the Executive Director(s) via Google Form by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 9, 2024. In the case that there are no nominations filed for a specific office, the office will reopen for one week and nomination forms will be due by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2024.”

MASC did not receive any applications for the office of Treasurer, therefore, this application for treasurer will remain open until 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 16th. Applicants must be registered for the MASC convention.

MASC elected officers for 2024-2025:
President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, and  Treasurer

Qualified student leaders interested in running for a MASC office should carefully read all of the qualifications, review the 2024-2025 draft calendar (time commitment), and discuss transportation arrangements with parents.  Although our executive board meetings also have a virtual option, it is expected that our officers attend all meetings in person.

The application requires signatures from parents and school officials, so please allow ample time for those adults to read and review your papers.

Be sure to read this packet carefully before you apply! The required virtual parent-candidate meeting is from 8:30 – 9:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.   If you are applying before by that date, MASC will send you information to attend the meeting, otherwise, there will be a make-up meeting.
