NASC National Student Council

MASC will be able to select a new representative in the spring of 2026 (states serve as representatives every other year).  This information is left here for your information.

The National Student Council (NSC) is an assembly of elected and appointed student leaders (representing 25 states each year) across the United States.  It advocates for students’ voices at the federal level, ensuring that their diverse perspectives and interests are integral to discussions surrounding education, schools, educators, and their futures.  Explore the Bylaws to learn more about NSC.

MASC can forward two candidates for the 2024-2025 year of service.  The National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) panel will select one State Representative from the two candidates nominated.
