Division 1 Liaison
Garrett, Allegany, Washington

Caiden Ogden
Allegany High School
Allegany County

Bio: Caiden Ogden (he/him) is a 9th grader at Allegany High School in Allegany County. In the 6th grade, he accidentally applied for regional second vice president and surprisingly won. Then in 7th grade he lost the election running for 2nd Vice President again but his regional advisor, Kara Kennell, gave him the opportunity of being the parliamentarian and if it wasn’t for her, Caiden would not be on the MASC-appointed staff today.

Caiden is currently Allegany County Association of Student Council’s (ACASC) Secretary/Treasurer where he plans to “make bank” by designing shirts, graphic designs, and fundraising. He has always loved advocating for students who don’t have a voice. During his term as Division One Liaison, he wants to increase Allegany, Garrett, and Washington County’s representation. He would also like to shout out Emily Michael, Kara Kennell, and Tammy Twigg.

Frederick, Carroll, Howard

Gabriella “Ella” Tedeschi
Century High School
Carroll County

Bio: Gabriella Tedeschi is a freshman at Century High School in Carroll County. She is serving her second year as one of the Carroll County Student Government Association’s (CCSGA) Co-Workshop Directors. This is her first year serving as a MASC staff member but she has previously served on MASC’s Action In Middle School (AIMS). As a part of AIMS, she presented workshops, wrote newsletter segments, and collaborated with others to create documents. This year, she hopes to increase involvement and inclusivity in her division. This includes catering to her delegate’s needs to ensure the development of their leadership skills. Gabriella enjoys playing with her dog, listening to music, skiing, running, traveling, and going to the gym.



Division 3 Liaison
Baltimore County, Baltimore City, Harford

Emma Martin
Hereford High School
Baltimore County

Bio: Emma Martin is a senior at Hereford High School in Baltimore County. She is a triplet and loves spending time with her family. She is involved in the American Youth Association, Baltimore County Student Councils (BCSC), School Safety, and serves as her high school Senior Class President. Emma is also on her school softball team. She loves playing piano where she tutors elementary school students and plays piano for a local church. Emma loves meeting new people and advocating for her fellow students.



 

Division 4 Liaison
Montgomery, Prince George’s, Anne Arundel

O’Marie Barnes
Crossland High School
Prince George’s County

Bio: O’Marie Barnes is a Junior at Crossland High School, Temple Hills, Maryland. He is proud to be Divisional Liaison for Division 4, Founder of the nonprofit “Barnes and Scott Youth Law Camp” , and Student Government Association (SGA) President at his school. O’Marie also serves in numerous other capacities; he is a member of Congressmen Glenn Ivey’s Safe Streets Advisory Board and his Youth Advisory Board, a Local Policy Director for the American Youth Association, and a member of the Maryland Civic Education Coalition. He’s excited to apply his experience to his new position, serve as an ambassador for the fourth division’s counties, and watch this year unravel for the Maryland Association of Student Councils (MASC).

Vanessa Li
Leonardtown High School
St. Mary’s County

Bio: Vanessa Li is a junior at Leonardtown High School in St. Mary’s County. She is active in student government and holds leadership positions at the state, regional, and local levels. Vanessa currently serves as the SMASC 1st-VP and as a candidate for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries of the Year Team Fly4ACure. In her free time, Vanessa is a part of her school’s chamber chorus, and theatre department, and has been taking voice lessons for 8+ years. She loves volunteering for her local nursing homes as a music demonstrator and has won competitions at the state and national levels for musical theatre and classical voice.

Grace Bullock
Easton High School
Talbot County


Bio: Grace Bullock is a senior at Easton High School in Talbot County. She is an active member of her school’s Latin Honor Society and is the Vice President of the Maryland Junior Classical League. Her hobbies include sewing, music, and dance.


Division 8 Liaison
Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset

Julia Gore
Parkside High School
Wicomico County


Bio: Julia Gore (she/her) is a senior at Parkside High School in Wicomico County, where she is an AP and Honors student. At school, she serves as the SGA President, Leadership Experience Opportunity (LEO) Club President, Student Representative to the Wicomico County Board of Education, and is an officer for various honor societies. Julia is an ambassador for Youth Environmental Action Summit, where she actively promotes student-led environmental advocacy in her community. In her downtime, Julia likes to binge rom-coms, go to the beach, shop, and read. As she takes on the role of Divisional Liaison for Division 8, Julia hopes to further Eastern Shore representation in MASC and promote student advocacy in underserved areas through thorough outreach.
