Congratulations!

MASC is proud to announce that the Governor has appointed Lorena Wu as the 2026–2027 Student Member of the Maryland State Board of Education.

Lorena is an accomplished and dedicated student leader who will represent Maryland students with insight, integrity, and strength at the state level.  Following a Senate confirmation, she will be sworn in after July 1 to officially begin her term of service.
